Hello friends!
I hope everyone is having a great week! Let me begin by saying that I have been running like a mad woman.. well kinda, I have been running a 5k everyday this week and it feels so good. I didn’t get up this morning to go run, but I plan on squeezing in a little run after work. Speaking of work, yesterday we had our office Christmas/holiday party. Tuesday night, with the help of Anya and my mother-in-law, we made four different cookies!
Christmas Sandies, which had cranberries in them,. yum!
Five-minute Fudge, also very good.
Rum balls
And these awesome Swirl cookies I found on Pintrest.
I ran out of sprinkles while making the Christmas Sandies, so the swirl cookies did not have any
, but they were still delicious.
We had a lot of leftover cookies, so I sent some to work with Erik today
I think there are approximately 20 people in my office at this point, and we had enough food to feed about 100 people, ha. I ate my fair share of food, don’t worry.
I wish I could tell you I didn’t go back for more mac &cheese, but I can’t, because it was so good I needed more. After we all had finished eating, it was time to start the white elephant gift exchange. There were a lot of presents under our office tree.
I had brought two bottles of red wine, and it was one of the most popular gifts!
There was a Dick’s sporting goods gift card that I really wanted (because I need new workout clothes), but it was stolen from me a handful of times. Despite that I walked away a happy person.
Woot! Sangria, chocolate and a $15 iTunes gift card, winner!
It was a fun day at the office. Tonight we are celebrating Christmas with my mom and sister, because they are going snowboarding and will not be here
I hope everyone has a great day!
Did you have an office Christmas party? Did you exchange gifts?

Awww that’s so cool! You have an office christmas tree
No sprinkles?! Probably because I ate them all….
haha maybe it was you :-p
Lindt chocolate, sangria, and itunes sounds pretty awesome to me! And so do all of those cookies…
Those swirl cookies are a great idea! You guys have good gifts in your white elephant! Ours was filled with things like a Justin Bieber toothbrush, The Rock VHS and a Jesus figurine.
haha that is hilarious
office parties are always pretty fun — and the food!! oh the food, always so yummy. The cookies look great and it looks like you got a great gift!! Happy holidays!
Holy wow! Those swirly cookies are so perfect! I don’t have an office party and actually I am pretty happy I don’t. Not sure if I want to be surrounded with my co-workers + alcohol lol.
Those swirl cookies look soo good!
