Whoa 15 weeks already!
I feel huge, and I know I will look back at these posts and laugh at myself for thinking I look big but that’s how I feel . This week our little jumping bean is the size of an Orange.
Still looking like I’m just gaining weight, unless you have seen me day in and day out and know that I can’t possibly be gaining all this weight so quickly. But I’m loving every minute of it..
I’ve been feeling pretty good. The last few days I’ve had some really bad acid re-flux thing going on in the mornings so I decided to cut out my morning cereal today and I feel a lot better. I’ve also been getting headaches almost everyday after lunch, so in order to remedy that I’ve started drinking a few sips of coffee after lunch, I guess my body does need a little caffeine.
I showed you all the cool things we’ve done this week like move the office into the basement and empty out the nursery and my sweet new diaper bag. I love new things. haha. I can’t wait to start wearing all my new maternity clothes! mmm maternity jeans haha.
I feel like my belly looked bigger last week.. maybe I was pushing it out more.. I put this little guy together yesterday, thought it was kinda cool
Weeks 5- 14
According to Baby Center.com, “Your growing baby now measures about 4 inches long, crown to rump, and weighs in at about 2 1/2 ounces. She’s busy moving amniotic fluid through her nose and upper respiratory tract, which helps the primitive air sacs in her lungs begin to develop. Her legs are growing longer than her arms now, and she can move all of her joints and limbs. Although her eyelids are still fused shut, she can sense light. If you shine a flashlight at your tummy, for instance, she’s likely to move away from the beam. There’s not much for your baby to taste at this point, but she is forming taste buds. Finally, if you have an ultrasound this week, you may be able to find out whether your baby’s a boy or a girl! (Don’t be too disappointed if it remains a mystery, though. Nailing down your baby’s sex depends on the clarity of the picture and on your baby’s position. He or she may be modestly curled up or turned in such a way as to “hide the goods.”)”
Hopefully we will be able to find out the gender of our little one at our Sept. appointment!
