Welcome to my new bloggy! I have a lot to share. I do have one more recap from Vancouver but I will most likely put that up sometime later this week, or even next weekend.
This weekend has been jam packed with fun. We had a lot of cleaning to do but we somehow managed to get that done and still have loads of time to hang out with our friends.
Friday night, Erik, Lauren, Leija and I went out to Tandoori Night for dinner. That place is amazing. If you have never been and have a Tandoori Nights near you, I recommend going (if you like Indian food). Afterwards we came home and Hyojon came over and we just hung around and laughed our butts off.
Saturday morning we headed over to Erik’s parent’s house for Diana’s birthday brunch! Sunny made a fantastic spread of food, that left us all stuffed for most of the day.
After brunch, Sunny, Diana and Erik went off to football practice, and I headed home to vacuum and start the laundry. We hung out with my family for the rest of the afternoon before coming home and getting ready to go out for Diana’s birthday. We went bowling, and of course I did not bring my camera, so I am waiting on Lauren to put some pictures up on facebook so I can steal them and call them my own. We had a great time and I know Diana did as well, haha.
Here are the pics from Lauren’s camera..
Sunday morning I got up and 8 and completed another on of my 101 in 1001 tasks! My friend Leija and I went to Bikram Yoga for the very first time! It was awesome, but oh man were we sweaty. There was a man in the front of the room, who we later named “the rain man”, because it sounded like it was raining in his corner of the room. He was that sweaty ew. Don’t get me wrong it was really really hard, the instructor had told us that the goal for our very first session was to stay in the room! And I am happy to say we did that! Depending on my shoulder situation, we will be going again.
You can’t really tell from this picture, but we were soaked! Lejia and I headed to Costco to get stuff ready for her BBQ, while Erik headed off to play football. When we got back from costco, Erik and I headed to Lejia’s house to help her prepare. We had an awesome spread of food (this has been a great food weekend)
Lejia’s brother brought over their dog Max, and him and Ella played for HOURS.
needless to say, Ella had a great time as well!
We are spending most of today cleaning, so I better get back to it!.. Tomorrow morning is my MRI eeeek.. wish me luck!
Have you ever tried Bikram Yoga? What did you think? -I loved it!
What did you do during this long weekend?
