I hope everyone had a great weekend, I know I did 🙂 As you all know, I love the fall, the weather, the food, and pumpkins! I had my very first pumpkin spice latte from Starbucks yesterday. I rarely go to Startbucks because I honestly feel like they burn their coffee. There is only one drink I get from there, and that is the Peppermint Mocha! And I guess now I can add the pumpkin spice latte 🙂 Yum!
Speaking of pumpkins, our family has a lot of traditions, and our fall tradition is going to the pumpkin patch. Last weekend we went to a mini pumpkin patch with Erik’s mom, and this past weekend we headed up to Jumbo’s Pumpkin patch in MD. We had never been there before, and really only went because there was a Groupon for $5 off a pumpkin, so we went. Jumbo’s will now be our pumpkin patch of choice for many years to come. They had so many wonderful activities there, we cannot wait to take our kids there one day.
When we all arrived at the patch, we hopped onto a free! hayride, that took us to the corn maze.
They had maps.. we refused to get one.. bad choice…
It was a HUGE corn maze
and we got lost a lot
all the pathways looked the same (who would have thought?)
but eventually (after about 35 minutes), we found our way out!
Hooray! It was a lot of fun, I had never been in a corn maze before, and thought it was going to be really easy to find our way out, but I was wrong. And then there were pumpkins!
It took me a while to find my perfect pumpkin, I am super picky,
It was quite hard to hold it with one arm, but I managed.. for the picture at least 🙂
Hi Erik! oh yes is that you Diana?.. in the distance? We rode the hayride back to the barn to make our pumpkin purchases
It was adorably decorated
Nothing like a pumpkin patch to get you into the fall spirit!
I am sad to say, we did not get a group picture with all of our pumpkins 😦 maybe next year! I hope everyone else had a great weekend too!
Do you have any fall traditions?
