NYE Pajama Party

Hello friends! Happy New Year!  Have you taken a look at my 2011 flashback?  2011 was a roller coaster of a year, and I am determined to make 2012 a much better one :).

One thing I forgot to mention was that this past Saturday was my long run day, 4 miles!  That is the longest distance I have run since my 10k back at the end of October. To say I was nervous is quite an understatement, but with my awesome running buddy, my hubby, we did it!  I finished 4 miles in 39:24 🙂 I am so proud of both of us!  We are onto week 2 of half marathon training. Okie enough running talk for today, onto our wonderful New Year’s Eve party.

Our friends Patti and Ramsey hosting the New Years party this year, and our theme was pajamas!  And what a great idea it was.  I am not really into making a huge deal about New Years, I think its a bit overplayed, and I would much rather take it easy so I am not hungover the next day. The food was awesome:

Patti made a lovely peach fountain drink:

and we ate

and danced

Ramsey got hot, so he had to roll up his pants.

Played beer pong

even the doggies had a great time.

We have an awesome group of friends.

Cheers to the New year! I hope everyone has a healthy and happy 2012!

What did you do this NYE?

PJ party on New Years, now that sounds like fun! I spent my NYE in Kansas at college bars living it up. Craig and I figured we were a little to old for it once we got there, last year doing the bar scene…oh well we were visiting friends 🙂

Ya we feel that way when we go out to college bars too, but oh well 🙂 We like to go and hang out with friends.

I love the pajama theme!! That’s so cute! This tops your ugly sweater party – and you guys had the ugliest sweaters I’ve seen! Congrats on a great start to your training and a successful long run!
