Listening to my Body

Hello friends!

Remember yesterday when I said I was going to run my scheduled 3.5 miles after work?  Yea well I didn’t for two reasons, #1- it was “snowing” and people around here freak out when there is anything falling from the sky (or they see flashing lights), and #2- my leg workout from Sunday with my crazy hubby, still has me waddling around like a pregnant woman in labor.  I made the educated decision that I was going to listen to my body and rest.

He may look sweet

but he means business.

haha, and I love him for it 🙂  We got up this morning and ran our 3.5 miles, and my legs feel a bit better.  I ran mine in 32:54 🙂  We need to wake up a bit earlier in order to get in our lifting and running for the day, it is just hard to wake up before 5am!  Ah, well, sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do.

Dinner last night was ah-mazing!

Trader Joe’s Southwest marinated Salmon, rice-a-roni, and Trader Joe’s veggie foursome.  As you all know, I am not a big fan of seafood, (read: I hate seafood), but salmon is one of the fish I can tolerate, and because Erik loves all things seafood, we compromise. I could eat this salmon every week if I had to, it was so good.  If you are like me and do not like fish, or are just looking for a great tasting pre-marinated fish, try it out.

I hope everyone has a great Tuesday (totally thought it was Wednesday already), all I want to do is cuddle up with this little lady.

By the way, she did this all on her own, aka pulled the pillow down to lay her head on it, I swear she is a little person 🙂
