Wooooot, it’s almost Friday, too bad I woke up today and thought it was Friday, oh well at least it is going to be a beautiful day today.
Well folks I’ve been slowly but surely falling off the healthy eating wagon, and back into my “eat whatever I want because I am working out” habits. This really needs to stop, I refuse to gain back the weight I worked so hard to lose 6 years ago, but I fear that if I do not make some drastic changes I will fall back into bad habits.
A few changes I will be making, I am swearing off beer, completely and totally done with it. Beer has so many empty calories and although I drink it for the taste, I don’t need it in my life. I will have the occasional glass of wine, but no more beer. I am also giving up sweets, not forever, just until I can get back on the healthy track. This mini cupcake is my last, good thing it was amazing.
My momma brought these back from her trip to NY this past weekend.
My mom also suggested I get some chia seeds and put them into my salads and yogurts to keep me full longer, so I will be making a trip to good ol’ Trader Joe’s this afternoon in search of some chia seeds.
That was last night’s dinner, courtesy of my wonderful mommy. We call it Havij Polo, or Carrot Rice. It is soooo good :), but I feel like I say that about all of my mom’s dishes. Tonight we are having a few friends over for a nice relaxing night of food and apples to apples 🙂 Should be good times.
