Seven Weeks!

Hello friends!

Another July birthday! Happy 3rd birthday to our little puppy ELLA!

Annd Happy Friday!!! I think in order to speed these posts along a bit I will be posting this weekend as well. I know totally unusual but the posts are already written all I have to do is press publish.. So look for 8 and 9 weeks posts this weekend, if you aren’t too busy watching the Olympics!

Here I was at 7 weeks (June 7- June 14)!

Not much has changed on the outside, but this week our little nugget is the size of a blueberry.

According to, “Hands and feet are emerging from developing arms and legs — although they look more like paddles at this point than the tiny, pudgy extremities you’re daydreaming about holding and tickling.”

This week we had a BBQ at our house to tell our families!!! I wrote about it here.  This was probably my favorite weekend in a very very long time.

I have still been feeling queasy in the mornings and right now I cannot stand the sight of cooked greens.. asparagus.. broccoli.. omg ew, just writing those down makes me queasy.  Earlier in the week I was over at my friend Katie’s house and she offered me some Chicken Lo Mein and I had passed it up, but because of that, all I wanted to eat the next day was chicken lo mein… so I got it for lunch the next day. Bad I know.

On Monday after Father’s day, all I wanted to eat was fruit.  Our office got some fruit for breakfast and I could not get enough of it. I think that is a craving I can handle.  I had to stop off at Giant on my way home to get some fruit for the week.

Foods I’m loving

  • Fruit
  • Eggs
  • Cheeeeeeese
  • Bagels
  • Smoothies
  • Fruit Ice cream bars!!!!!

Dear baby S,

This week we told our familes about you! They were so excited. We called our families in England and Iran and they cried. It was awesome.  I can’t wait for you to meet everyone; they are all already so excited to meet you!  We go to the doctor next week to see you for the very first time!!!! I cannot wait!

This week all I want is fruit! We even got some fruit bars from Costco! I think you are going to be a good eater, just like your mommy.

Your very very very happy mommy

Look for posts tomorrow and Sunday 🙂
