35 Weeks!

Hello friends!

FIVE.MORE.WEEKS. Oh man.. on top of that My Twinsie informed me this morning that she is in LABOR 🙂 YAY.. Caden is going to be born today, within the next 4-5 hours in fact! I cannot wait to meet him.. I am hoping my doctor will let me travel to Richmond in the next week or two to go and visit them, that is if they are up for visitors 🙂

Hearing that Erin is in labor has made this so much more real to me.. I don’t know why.. maybe because we shared our happy news to each other from the very second we found out.

This week if he is staying on his 1/2 lb a week gained track Liam weighs about 5 lbs 12 oz. Sleeping has been pretty off and on this week.  I get up at least 3 times a night to pee, and more than that just to roll over because either my hip hurts or my arm is numb… It is quite annoying. But I am still getting a good nights rest so I can’t complain too much.IMG_9335I would also say that I am generally uncomfortable in my own skin, haha.  I feel huge.  Also because everything is squished in there, I haven’t been able to eat as much.  A few bites in and I am already pretty full.  I didn’t even have room for dessert, sad but true.. Instead I had some hot cocoa with whipped cream 🙂

Erik and I have been knocking things off of our to-do list all week, and we are down to about 14 more items to go!  I will do a full update of all things listy early next week complete with pictures 🙂 ooooo.. get excited!

According to babycenter.com, “Your baby doesn’t have much room to maneuver now that he’s over 18 inches long and tips the scales at 5 1/4 pounds (pick up a honeydew melon). Because it’s so snug in your womb, he isn’t likely to be doing somersaults anymore, but the number of times he kicks should remain about the same. His kidneys are fully developed now, and his liver can process some waste products. Most of his basic physical development is now complete — he’ll spend the next few weeks putting on weight.”IMG_9336Spark notes version:

This sounds silly, but I’m glad you started this post saying “five more weeks” because I was just wondering yesterday how long pregnancies typically last. I know nine months, but people keep talking in weeks. haha

    Love that sweater, btw!
