Sorry I didn’t post yesterday, it was a horrible day and I wasn’t feeling inspired to write about it. I am doing much better today, and good thing too because our little guy is already SEVEN weeks old!Just look at those chunky little thighs 🙂 I love it!
We took these pictures last night, and he was in such a good mood, Erik and I were loving it. It’s so much easier to take tons of pictures when your baby is in a good mood.
Daycare has been going well for Liam. He loves it there, which really helps me become more at ease with leaving him in daycare while I go to work. Our daycare lady said he is such a sweet and happy baby, all he does is smile, laugh and watch all the little kids around him play. She did say that yesterday he was a little fussy when it was nap time for all the bigger kids. She says he was mad that it was so quiet, he loves noise. He sleeps so well in his crib, and is sleeping between 5-9 hours straight at night!!!! Well the 9 hour stretch was Monday night after his first day of daycare, he was exhausted and we had put him in his car seat to take him to see my dad and go out to dinner with my family around 6:30 and he slept until I semi woke him up to feed him at 9. After that he slept until around 4am!
At first I was worried he wasn’t eating and sleeping enough but he eats 14 oz a day while he is at daycare and probably gets another 10-13 oz when he comes home from me. So I think he is doing pretty well. As for sleep, he must be getting enough while he is at daycare because when Erik picks him up in the afternoon he is all smiles and giggles.
We have been giving him a bath every night now because he comes back from daycare smelling like milk haha. I think he likes it and know that it is now part of his bedtime routine. He seems to calm down and starts getting drowsy after his bath.
Yesterday Erik and I started our new workout schedules.. After he picks Liam up and brings him home, we play with him for about 30 or so minutes then Erik goes to the gym while I feed him and spend some one on one time with him :). Then I put him in his bouncy seat and he watched me do P90x…
Yesterday was my first day, and it was rough.. Not only am I out of shape, but trying to work out while your baby is crying is hard. I only got through 35 minutes of the 50 minute workout yesterday but it was better than nothing. I am doing the Lean version of P90x, which includes 4 days of cardio and 2 days of strength training. It feels good to get back on the horse. Tonight is Cardio X, I can’t wait.
I hope everyone has a great day!
I can’t wait to get home to my happy little guy!
