Sorry this post is up so late but we had a busy morning. Guess who changed their mind and started their son on solids today.. oopss #sorryimnotsorry
As promised photos from the awesome wedding we went to on Saturday. Mike, or Gavalla as I have always known him, is a former coworker of Erik’s. We have hung out a bunch of times and he was even at our wedding. We also know his now brother-in-law Jonathan. They are hilariously sweet guys and we are lucky to know them.
We packed our car Friday night (omg babies need sooo much stuff), and headed up to State College. We took a lot of hilarious pictures in the car, while my sister sang to Liam (I know it looks like I was driving and taking pictures but I wasn’t.. snapchat flips the pictures).
He was not a fan of the car at first so we sang a bunch of Brittany Spears songs to him until he fell asleep.
He slept practically the entire way up there, and was awake for maybe the last 20 minutes. During which we sang to him again.. He loved it
After we checked in and got ready we headed off to the ceremony.. We were running so late that I totally forgot my camera back in the room so I only managed to snap one picture with my phone.
Lame.. I know. It was a lovely ceremony and we are so happy we were able to be a part of their special day.
We had a few hours to kill after the ceremony so we went into the pretty courtyard of the hotel and took some family pictures.
Aren’t they so handsome! I love my boys.
Afterwards we put Liam down for a nap and Erik and I headed to the cocktail hour. Oh ya I forgot to mention we met up with another former coworker of Erik’s, Brian, and his lovely (and awesome) girlfriend Rachel. We were obviously instant friends…. Friends that obviously don’t have time to take a picture together.
But we did manage to get a picture with the Bride and Groom. Aren’t they lovely 🙂
The best part of the evening (other than the food and ICE CREAM, which I will get to in a minute) was the surprise dance that Sarah’s Brother Jonathan choreographed. They are working on putting it on youtube and once they do I will totally be putting it up here. I did manage to take some pictures.
The Ice cream.. oh the ice cream.. Apparently there is a famous creamery near Penn State, and they have amazing ice cream. To all future weddings to attend… Ice cream is a must.
It was so good, especially on a hot summer day, who am I kidding, ice cream is good on any day.
YAY weddings! We came back to the room to a sweet sleeping baby..
I hope everyone has a great day!
