Oh we are soo soo excited! We would have been really excited either way, but I am really looking forward to having a baby girl. I have already picked out exactly what I want her nursery to look like and all the pink things I want to buy! Thank you all for your sweet messages yesterday!
I am 21 weeks as of Sunday! Holy cow only 19 more weeks to go!
I am feeling pretty good, other than the horrific hip and back pain. My doctor said there is nothing really we can do about it other than stretching and staying active (easier said than done lady!). I am trying, we go on walks when the weather is nice and I stay pretty active chasing Liam around all day!
Like I’ve been saying, I am so so much bigger this time around than last, but now I know why! Baby girl is much bigger than Liam was at this point of my pregnancy. Liam was 11 oz at 20 weeks and Baby girl is 14 oz! That makes a huge difference. Thank goodness she is bigger and it’s not just me!
The doctor at our ultrasound said everything looked great and she was growing really well! She freaked me out for a little while because she spent so much time looking at her heart, but she said it looked great. It was actually really cool to watch baby girl’s heart beating; you could actually see the valves in her heart moving with each beat. Science is freaking awesome!
Before too many people ask, we have decided to keep her name a secret until she is born. We’ve been throwing some names around and we might even come up with a list of names that we like, take them with us to the hospital and name her there depending on what she looks like! The ultrasound tech said that she really looked like a girl, and from the ultrasound pictures I could see why she said that. She has very defined, dainty features! AH I cannot wait to meet her, well obviously I can wait 19 more weeks, but you know. Okay that is all I have for you all today!
