34 weeks!

Hello friends!

Happy New Year! I hope everyone is having a wonderful start to the New Year! I will be doing a 2014 recap this year, but it might take me a few days to put it together. I feel like last year I said I was going to start the recap post in Jan and add onto it, but I obviously didn’t do that. There is always this year!

Anyway, here we are 34 weeks, 6 weeks left! Holy cow!

This has been a big week in nursery progress. I meant to clean the chair in the nursery but I got lazy. I promise I will try and clean it next week. My sister, Erik and I put the canvases on the nursery wall. I think I am going to order one or two of these to go over her crib instead of getting the $50 monogram.

circlesI also want some sort of Typography letter thing for the walls on either side of the window. I need to do some more pinteresting for those. Another adorable purchase for this week was the crib skirt and coral sheet. The website I ordered it from allowed me to preview the two pieces together before I ordered them so I took a screenshot.

nurseryHOW CUTE IS THAT!? I cannot wait for it to arrive. Apparently it won’t be arriving at our house until Jan 15, a MONTH before she is due to arrive. I am hoping to have ordered her crib mattress by then. I think I will wait and order it after we get the crib skirt. I think those are the only things I’ve purchased this week for her nursery, but I am really excited for all of them.

I also want this:

canvasBut it’s $70 and I cannot justify spending that much on a laundry hamper. I don’t know why it has been so hard for me to find a navy blue laundry hamper, but it has been impossible.

In other news, my hips and groin are pain free! Well most of the time. I’ve been doing some leg lifts each night and they have really helped! My sciatic nerve pain comes and goes, but I don’t think that is something I can really prevent. I will keep the stretching and leg lifts up as long as I can and as long as they are helping me.

I have also been feeling exhausted again! I totally forgot how tired I was last time in the third trimester. I feel like I need at least one nap every day; one around 11 and one around 2. I can’t do either because I work during those times. I do plan on taking a few weekend naps here in the last few weeks.
