Look at me being on time with her 10 week post!
She is getting so big and aware now, it is awesome. This week I went back to work so I didn’t spend as much time with her as I have been but I think we are all doing okay. She continues to sleep really well in the mornings and not so much in the afternoon. I am not really sure how to fix it or if I really want to attempt to fix it right now. Her morning naps are usually 3-4 hours long and will wake up and stay awake for 1.5-2 hours then take another 45 min to an hour nap. The late afternoon nap is the struggle; if she even falls asleep. She doesn’t really want to go back to sleep after 2pm. She will drift in and out of sleep for 30-45 min at a time before her bath. She seems really happy, so I am not concerned.
On Wednesday, I took Quinn to the doctor to get her cough checked out. I’ve been really nervous and stressed out because around 11 weeks was when Liam got really sick and went into the hospital. Our pediatrician told me not to compare my kids to one another. He told me that Liam had a fever and a really high white blood count, which is what sent him to the hospital. He listened to her lungs and did an albuterol nebulizer treatment which didn’t do anything. He said she didn’t need the steroids, and to just do a saline treatment with the nebulizer to see if that helped. After her first treatment at home I could already tell a difference. She seemed to be happier and slept from 8pm-1am. We also elevated her mattress (which really pissed her off) to help with the post nasal drip. I am hoping we can all kick this cold by next week so we can move on from all this stress and anxiety. I did find out that she gained 8 oz in a week, so we must be doing something right!
Alright that is all for today!
I hope everyone has a great day!
